The Life,The Work,The Fight: Black Duluth in History
We held an opening reception on February 3rd at the Zeitgeist Atrium for the showing of "The Life,The Work,The Fight:Black Duluth in History". An exhibit showcased the lives of African-American elders in Duluth dating back to the 19th century. Each person who shared their story at this event has inspired future generations of African Americans. We also held a closing reception on the 24th to close the showcase.
Day of Remembrance
We will be holding a few day of remembrance events this June 14th and 15th.
On June 14th there will be a gravesite service at 5:30pm.
On June 15th there will be a ceremony at the memorial at noon.
